#10-009-Intermediate Environmental Scientist (Calgary)

Millennium EMS Solutions requires the services of an intermediate environmental scientist with 3-5 years experience in its Calgary office. The incumbent's experience will include the following:

Three to five years practical experience in site reclamation and soil survey.
Planning, inspection, management and implementation of field programs.
Development of work plans and cost estimates for reclamation.
The completion of soil and vegetation surveys including ecotype and soil classification.
Interpretation of maps, survey plans and air photos.
Application of current regulatory criteria, specifically the Reclamation Criteria for Wellsites and Associated Facilities and Soil and Groundwater Remediation Guidelines.
Mentoring of Millennium junior staff, as required to complete the work.
Compilation, interpretation and report preparation of the data collected.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and make responsible decisions.
Professional membership with AIA or eligibility for membership.

The position requires a combination of field and office work in a demanding consultative environment. The incumbent will be expected to plan and supervise field programs, evaluate the information collected, prepare professional reports and interact with clients.

#10-008(A)-Intermediate Environmental Hydrogeologist

Millennium EMS Solutions requires the services of a intermediate Hydrogeologist with 3 to 5 years experience. The incumbent's experience will ideally include the following:

Minimum three years experience in environmental site assessments, water supply evaluations, contaminated site investigations and groundwater monitoring is desirable.
Planning and implementation of field programs, including the installation and testing of both monitoring and water supply wells.
Demonstrated ability to make responsible decisions.
Compilation, interpretation and report preparation of the data collected.
Masters degree or directly applicable Bachelors degree.
Eligibility for professional membership with APEGGA.
