Healthcare Facility Air Quality Impact Assessment
Our team was engaged to assess the air‑quality implications of post‑combustion emissions resulting from the expansion of a power plant supplying additional steam capacity to a major regional medical facility and a newly constructed comprehensive cancer‑care centre.
The air‑quality modelling study incorporated emissions from several nearby institutional energy‑generation facilities, including a university central heating plant, a children’s hospital, and a technical institute cogeneration plant.
In addition to the technical assessment, our team also provided expert witness testimony during a public oral hearing held by the provincial utilities regulator in support of the air‑quality analysis.
