Refinery Air Quality Assessment
Millennium EMS Solutions Ltd. (MEMS) was retained to assess the air‑quality impacts of post‑combustion emissions resulting from the retrofitting of existing heaters at a large refining facility. The project involved transitioning the heaters to operate on clean gaseous hydrogen fuel, replacing traditional hydrocarbon‑fuel combustion.
Our modelling study included emissions from the entire industrial complex, as well as a cumulative effects assessment of all non‑project industrial emission sources within the regional catchment area, as required under applicable supplementary air‑quality modelling guidelines for designated industrial zones.
