Since 2008, MEMS has been an approved consultant for the provision of GHG verification services for offset projects by the Alberta government. Our methodology is based on ISO 14063 requirements and we have completed various assignments under the following protocols:
- Conservation Cropping
- Aerobic Composting
- Anaerobic Treatment of Wastewater Projects
- Acid Gas Injection (Protocol since terminated)
MEMS has also co-authored the “Energy Generation from the Combustion of Biomass Waste” protocol including the update to align the Protocol with the implementation of the carbon levy.
